Volunteer help needed for Trail Rehabilitation and an Invasive Plant Pull.

Vigorous volunteers needed for trail maintenance and invasive weed removal on this National Historic Trail! Join forces with Cottonwood Canyons Foundation, US Forest Service, Salt Lake City Watershed, REI SLC and other hard-working volunteers to help improve the Mormon Pioneer Trail in East Canyon. Working volunteers will receive an REI OXT shirt (while supplies last) as well as a light breakfast & lunch.
Pre-registration required by calling, emailing, or coming in person to the Public Lands Information Center. Call at 801-466-6411, email at plic@xmission.com or stop by the PLIC kiosk just inside REI SLC between 11-5 Monday- Friday. All participants must sign all waivers before participating. Participants must be over the age of sixteen and in good physical health to participate in trail maintenance. Volunteers 13 years of age and older can participate in invasive weed removal. Minors must have an adult present.
