Wasatch Wildflower Festival July 18 - 20, 2008
A Celebration of Biodiversity
This all started quite some time ago when some crazy Alta locals decided they needed an excuse to have a block party.
Years later, a festival was born and organizations and businesses in Big and Little Cottonwood Canyon work together out of recognition that the mountains are a finite resource and it's a good idea to use a festival to not only celebrate the wildflowers, but show people how to take care of them.
This festival is planned through a partnership between the Cottonwood Canyons Foundation, our fabulous volunteers, Alta Community Enrichment, Alta Ski Lifts, Snowbird, Solitude and the Wasatch-Cache National Forest
